corsolee_web_bw_400Lee Corso, acclaimed college football analyst is the honorary chairman of Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer.

Corso asked to become involved with Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer after hearing charity co-founder Clay Owen speak at a college football luncheon.

"I truly believe God put me in that room to hear Clay speak," said Corso. "I can't think of a more worthy cause to support."

Corso is a traveling ambassador for the charity, urging youth sports teams to participate in Coaches Curing Kids’ Cancer. Corso is former head football coach at the University of Louisville and the University of Indiana.

“What a win-win,”’ added Corso. “Teams get to say thank you to their coaches while the money goes to new pediatric cancer treatments. Mark my words – Coaches Curing Kids’ Cancer is going to be huge.”


Bobby Lutz
lutz2Bobby Lutz, head coach of the University of North Carolina Charlotte 49ers, serves as a spokesperson for Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer in the Charlotte, NC area to help spread awareness and assist in fundraising activities.

Lutz has led the 49ers to seven post-season tournaments, five NCAA Tournaments and posted four 20-win seasons. Charlotte has won three conference championships including two tourney titles and one regular-season crown and reached the post-season seven times.

On top of all that, Lutz is one of
the good guys in the business.
Coach Lutz is the face of Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer in Charlotte. He’s also a two-time participant in the the Defense Department’s “Operation Hardwood - Hoops With Troops” program (August, 2005; June, 2006) in which NCAA coaches visited Kuwait to coach troops in a week-long tournament. He participated in NASCAR’s Elliott Sadler’s 2004 “Hoops For Hope” Charity Basketball Game
