"With this year's grants, we've  donated more than $1 million since we created Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer," said charity founder Grainne Owen, who lost her nine-year-old son Killian to leukemia six years ago. "We are so appreciative of every sports league and every classroom that has supported our efforts."

But wait - there's even more good news: Curing Kids' Cancer is now taking applications for another $40,000 grant, which will be awarded in the coming weeks after the applications have been reviewed. Applications must be in by Monday, Feb. 15. Contact Grainne at grainne@curingkidscancer.org.

Although the cold of winter is still upon us, the green shoots of spring are fast approaching. And once again, you'll need to decide on your coaches' gifts.
We know you have a choice of gifts, and appreciate that you have chosen Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer. We work hard to ensure that your donations go to support cutting edge pediatric cancer research.
This year, we're offering a new incentive. If your team donates $250 or more, we'll send you an awesome sling ball bag in addition to our regular coaches' gifts!
Help us spread the word about Coaches Curing KIds' Cancer by telling your friends, relatives and sports leagues. Start by downloading a team parent kit from our website - or ask us to send some to you. Email Peggy for details.
